At least two distinct Ultium battery pack configurations will be offered for the Chevy Silverado EV. Perhaps one of them will be a 24-module unit, most likely related to the largest battery pack in the GMC Hummer EV Pickup. It will have a 200-kilowatt-hour energy storage capacity, which is enough to provide GM’s estimated range of 400 miles or more. With 350 kW of peak charging capacity, the company estimates that 10 minutes of DC charging will cover a distance of around 100 miles. It will have 510 horsepower in its base trim and 664 horsepower in the RST trim. It will face up against the Ford F-150 Lightning, which will go on sale in the United States this spring.

The Alpha will be available with one, two, or four motors, with power output aiming for 1,000 hp and 1,085Nm for the latter, with single motor options aiming for 262 hp and twin-motor versions 550 hp.

No power figures have been released, however 0-60 mph is said to take 5.9 seconds. Alpha hasn’t decided on a battery pack size for the Wolf yet, or doesn’t want to say, but it will be between 75 and 85 kWh. The price will start at $36,000.

Canoo, a Los Angeles-based electric vehicle company, has created another creative electric pickup design. The Canoo electric pickup truck will be 184 inches (4.67 meters) long, 78 inches (1.98 meters)wide, 76 inches (1.92 meters)  tall, and have a wheelbase of 112.2 inches (2.85 meters). That implies it’s far smaller than most pickup trucks marketed in the United States. The battery pack’s size isn’t specified, but Canoo claims it will have a range of more than 200 miles. The ground clearance has not been specified, however the pickup truck will be equipped with 260/60 R18 tires. Canoo previously stated that its vehicles would feature 40 kWh, 60 kWh, and 80 kWh batteries, with ranges of 130,190, and 230 miles, respectively.
